Consequently, all Christian belief systems reflect similar ideas about the nature of reality. This Christian philosophy of life shapes attitudes that believers have about themselves, their relationship with others, and appropriate responses to crises and adversity. By analyzing the teachings of Jesus, seven main themes emerged. The authors are able to show that all of these themes are reflected in modern-day systemic therapies. The authors believe that these themes may be related to mental and physical health advantages that believers have over non-believers.
