# **Diako Alikhani**

## University of Denver

Diako Alikhani received his PhD from the University of Denver. His work is grounded in continental philosophy, phenomenology, ethics, and political theology, with a particular focus on Emmanuel Levinas. His research examines hospitality, migration, otherness, and the formation of the self through responsibility to the stranger and the Other. He is especially interested in how political, religious, and philosophical traditions illuminate questions of subjectivity, responsibility, otherness, and politics. His recent work explores the relation between law, violence, and the formation of subjects under conditions of political crisis.
