Fees and Funding

JCRT charges no fees to authors or readers: no submission, processing, publication, page, colour, or withdrawal charges. How the journal is funded.

Author fees

The Journal for Cultural and Religious Theory charges authors nothing at any stage. There are no submission fees, no editorial processing charges, no article processing charges (APCs), no page charges, no colour charges, no language-editing fees, and no charges for withdrawing a manuscript. Because there are no fees, there is no waiver programme. The journal has no plans to introduce author charges. An author’s ability to pay is never a factor in any editorial decision.

Reader fees

All content is free to read, download, and reuse under the journal’s open access policy. No registration or subscription is required.

Funding and revenue

JCRT is published by The Whitestone Foundation, a 501©(3) non-profit corporation registered in the state of Colorado, and is supported by its institutional sponsors, the University of Denver and Syracuse University. The journal has no other revenue. It does not sell reprints, supplements, or sponsored special issues, and funding sources have no influence on editorial decisions.

Advertising

JCRT does not accept advertising of any kind.
